Can an EV charger work with my solar system?
Yes. A solar-aware charger reads your surplus and sends it to the car. We check your inverter and metering to confirm the right setup.
Do I need a switchboard upgrade?
Not always. We check capacity, cable run and protection before quoting and specify load management where it avoids an upgrade.
How fast will it charge?
A 7 kW single-phase charger adds roughly 40 km of range per hour; 22 kW three-phase is faster if your car and supply support it. Overnight covers almost any day.
Can I install one in a townhouse or apartment?
Often, but check ownership and approvals first. We'll advise on placement, metering and body-corporate requirements.
