Heating and cooling, reinvented

Efficient heating. Summer cooling. One system.

Reverse-cycle air conditioning is a heat pump. It moves heat indoors in winter and outdoors in summer using electricity instead of burning gas in the home. Sized well and run on your solar, it's the cheapest way to heat a Melbourne house.

  • Heat and cool from one efficient system, room by room
  • Run it during the day on your own solar generation
  • Replace ducted gas heating and step toward all-electric
  • Quiet units, clean pipework, even comfort in every room
Heating efficiency 400%+
Designed around your rooms

No guesswork on sizing or placement.

The right system depends on your rooms, how you live in them and whether a split, multi-split or ducted system suits the home. For ducted we produce a full floorplan design.

01

Sized to each room

Capacity matched to room size, aspect and insulation so each space heats and cools quickly without paying for the wrong unit.

02

Full ducted floorplan design

Every conditioned room, zone, outlet, duct size, return-air grille and controller mapped so airflow is balanced.

03

Placement and solar timing

Indoor and outdoor units sited for airflow and low noise, then scheduled to pre-heat or pre-cool in your solar window.

The Solargenic standard

The install should disappear into the home.

A good air conditioning install is clean pipework, quiet units in the right spots and even comfort in every room.

Sited for even, quiet comfort

Indoor heads positioned for airflow across the room, outdoor unit placed for airflow and low noise.

A single outdoor unit, zoned inside

Where it suits, one outdoor unit feeds multiple indoor heads, each controlled independently.

Timed to run on your solar

Schedules set to pre-heat or pre-cool during your solar window, app connected, controls explained.

More than summer comfort

Warm in winter, cool in summer, off gas.

Reverse-cycle supports year-round comfort and a move away from gas heating. The right capacity, controls and routine matter as much as the badge on the unit.

Common questions

Melbourne air conditioning questions.

Which system is best for a Melbourne home?

It depends on the rooms you use, winter heating needs and installation space. A split suits one room or open-plan area, multi-split connects several rooms to one outdoor unit, ducted suits a whole-home plan.

What size split system do I need?

Floor area is only a starting point. Ceiling height, insulation, glazing and sun exposure all affect the load. We assess before recommending.

Can reverse-cycle replace ducted gas heating?

Yes. Allow for new ductwork, since cooling can need larger insulated ducts and a different return-air grille. We confirm the design after assessing.

Can I run my air conditioner on solar?

Yes. Scheduling heating or cooling while your panels are producing uses power you've already made. A battery extends that into the evening.

Who actually does the install?

Our own team, led by A-grade electricians with SAA accreditation. We don't sell your job to a subcontractor.
